Our first time meeting was supposed to be right down the road in Lexington, Virginia but because of the restrictions on large gatherings due to COVID, we met almost 4 hours away in Poquoson for this small elopement ceremony. As we pulled throught the small beach town to arrive at the Poquoson Yacht Club, we couldn't help but feel like we were on an island. We were surrounded by sunshine and salty air! We were lucky enought to get all of the ceremony, pictures done, and sent the newlyweds off by boat before a beachy storm blew through the area... it was the kind of day elopement dreams are made of!
Although I'm so sad that I will not get to celebrate their marriage with them in July, I am very grateful to have been able to capture this moment for them and I'm so happy to say that they are husband and wife!
