December. 2nd 2019 was marked off in my calendar for quite some time. All year I looked forward to attending a massive styled shoot called Creatively Gathered hosted by K-Layne Styled in Charlottesville, Va. For those of you wondering what a styled shoot is, let me give you the run down... It's pretty much a faux wedding day for photographers to practice their skill, gather beautiful images, interact with incredible vendors, and get together with other creatives! Although I had been to other styled shoots before, this one was unlike any other.
I had the opportunity to be a lead photographer with a small group of ladies. We photographed not one, not two, but three amazing weddings this day and I've been dying to share all of them. Fun fact about me: I always work backwards, so in typical fashion I wanted to start with the last wedding of the day!
This wedding vision was called "Zero Waste" and was all about the environmentally-friendly yet luxurious couple. The details were nothing short of spectacular and I just loved how this board came together. Thank you to the rock-star vendor team that made this happen.
