My journey with photography started long before I can actually pin a date on it. I am the oldest of 4 children with my youngest sibling 11 years younger than me and my mom was straight up busy! That meant there weren't tons of pictures of me after siblings started to enter the world, and as a mom now I totally get it. So, as soon as I got a camera, it's all I wanted to do- take pictures of my siblings, random objects, embarrassing pictures for Myspace (yes, Myspace). I found so much value in capturing life for my family, myself, and then others.... I was the girl with a camera at every get together or event, I was the girl that posed all of her friends in ridiculous ways when we were all hanging out, but never did I think it would become a job for me! Even today, it doesn't feel that way. As an elementary teacher full time, photography still feels like a creative relief and blessing.
Now
After capturing the memories of my clients for over 5 years, over 100 weddings, and countless portrait sessions... I found what drives my business forward- providing a unique experience for my clients in order to serve them in a way that makes them feel like a client for life! I know what it's like to be a senior and want amazing senior portraits, or to be a fiancé searching for a great fit photographer, or a mom wanting to capture all of the milestones of my little family's life. Above all things, I want my clients to leave feeling like it was the most comfortable and enjoyable experience they have had in front of a camera and to leave as a part of the Austin & Austin Photography family! Every moment captured through my lens is an honor for me and I am forever grateful to be a part of so many lives through this business.
